Hi,
Thank you for a consistent standard of service. I use Stagecoach to commute in to and out from the centre of Manchester using the # bus, which is always quite clean and hardly ever behind schedule.
Yesterday I boarded at Albert Square at 19.05 and got out sometime later on ----- Road in ------ ------. It was on leaving the bus that I thought I should write in and give you my feedback because, to my surprise, the journey had ended on a sour note.
I pressed the button to signal the driver after we left the stop at ----- --- roundabout and got out of my seat at the rear on the lower deck. As I made my way down the carriage the driver pressed hard on the brakes and sent me flying towards the front, then slowly eased the pressure as we approached the stop.
I managed to find my balance by the baggage area and left after the doors opened. As I walked off the bus I heard the driver speaking to me, it was a derogatory “Thank you”. What for? I can’t even begin to guess.
Walking home and wondering why the bus driver was being sarcastic, I remembered he looked a bit miffed when I boarded in Albert Square. He jerked the bus then too.
I didn’t notice him being mean to any of the other passengers. What did I do wrong? I’m sure you have all of this on CCTV. Maybe you could have a look, or speak to the driver and ask him.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Regards,
Richard
